LET'S SIGN TOGETHER TESTIMONIALS |
The class has been such an enriching experience for both Kyle and myself. Jennifer Wilkinson is so kind and encouraging to both the babies and the mommies! Signing with my child has not only helped his communication skills, but has strengthened our bond as well."

On behalf of the staff and the participants of the Seaford Senior Service Community Center, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for visiting our center on Tuesday, December 23, 2003. We enjoyed the presentation immensely. The children were so enthusiastic in sharing their special talent with the senior community. The love, time and effort that is put into this program is evident. The seniors were so impressed with the parent involvement in this wonderful program. They enjoyed the dance presentation also.
Thank you also for bringing the cookies and brownies. They were delicious. This was such a wonderful experience for our participants, we hope you can come back and visit us again.

I apply the signs on a daily basis with Daddy. Vincent smiles and responds happily now when Daddy enters a room and signs, "Daddy!"
Jennifer is a wonderful and patient teacher, mommy and person.

INSTRUCTION AT NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE |
I have thoroughly enjoyed this class; I think it is my favorite class ever. You made learning very enjoyable. You're very patient. I appreciate your enthusiasm; it is contagious to the class. I don't remember another class where everyone participated so readily! This is due to your personality and your teaching style. This has been a wonderful experience for me. I want to thank you for making it so enjoyable.

It's hard for me to find the words to describe how my experience with this class has been. I found this course to have been unforgettable, outstanding, enlightening and FUN! I had always had an interest in taking sign language. When I learned that ASL filled the language requirement for my Masters, I jumped at the opportunity. I never realized what a world I was to be opened up to!
I leave the class
with such a happy feeling and then spend the next hour reporting all that I learned to my husband and kids, for they have been absorbing everything I tell them! I even gave them name-signs and taught them how to communicate with each other from across the pool at our beach club!
I have found the deaf culture to be rich in feeling, emotion and brotherhood. I feel as if I've finally found the most comfortable and natural way to use my hands and have learned so many important things about body language. I would welcome any suggestions you may have as how to incorporate this into my future.

I have learned so much more than I ever expected, and had a great time doing it. You are a wonderful teacher and have made this course a very rewarding experience.
If anyone told me in the first week of this course that I would be able to sign over two hundred words, I would have told them that they were crazy! This course is very different from any other that I have taken. It has been a great challenge for me to overcome. It has been such a rewarding experience to be exposed to such a wonderful and new language. More importantly, I feel that I ca
n communicate with a deaf person.
